Like @CoachWatson said, the new admin is wanting a culture change & they are a collective group that is all about athletics.

However, even with that (as well as a brand new facility from a stadium, turf field and 100K+ in fieldhouse upgrades)?

I’m sure there aren’t many, better yet ANY current HC’s or coordinators due for a job that are looking to leave their current situation (if even remotely a good one) to walk into a two year schedule, top to bottom, that’s only missing Ohio State & Philly.

They are currently interviewing some candidates, I can assure you this will be a thorough process and they will not jump into just any hire. At the end of the day they are PRP and should go after who THEY want, not settle for just anyone. They will get who they want or ride with an interim until they do. Mr. Stinson and Waddell will get a quality replacement. Good luck Ridge! As a former coach there I am pulling for the best possible outcome.

Just talked to PRP Principal, "job is still wide open", no internal candidates have applied. They are going to get the right person for the job or hold tight until they do. Have not talked to Crowe but I don't think that is the reason behind him leaving Western.

I haven't heard jack squat about this one, albeit JCPS has a track record a mile long of conducting coaching hires with absolute minimal fanfare.

My assumption is that whomever they've had running their conditioning and spring practices after Brandon Dunn was given Das Boot will be the job on an interim basis. No idea who that individual is, though.

The interim is Kenny “Sky” Walker, who was the long time coach of Atherton. He’s in the building at PRP.

Thanks for that update. His last season at Atherton Coach Walker opened on the road with a win at KCD. His first season at PRP his team will open on the road at Trinity. Hello……

Pleasure Ridge Park has Coach Walker listed as their head coach on Arbiter, currently, so until I hear otherwise my assumption is that he's the Panthers' interim coach for the year.

Coach Walker will keep the ship afloat for the year. A man who loves and cares about kids. Like I've mentioned before, letting Coach Williams go was a bad decision.
