THX for the video.  All I can say if WOW.

I get the refs were trying to maintain order, but the second video to me doesn’t warrant a technical foul. But if the coach saw continued escalation against his team, I’m sure he felt that his players were in a no-win situation and I appreciate the sentiment of him taking them off the court to protect these young men on both teams from escalating tensions. In my experience, it’s possible one of the players on either team might have made a mistake in the name of “protecting” his teammates.

If you can not control your team long enough to complete 32 minutes of basketball, should you really be coaching them?

Based on the two videos I watched I’m not sure how the Montgomery County player wasn’t ejected too.

Things occur sometimes during these games that the eyes of others can’t really see or hear for that matter, but the rule of thumb says you should try everything in your power to finish the game.

Only fair to note that the very obvious peacemaker in the squabble was Cayden Reed that rushed in between his teammate and arguing opponent to de-escalate the situation.  He grabbed his teammate forcing him away from a second opponent as punches were thrown.  Got to say he was a cool head and showed some great leadership helping the situation to not get even uglier.

The Montgomery player was ejected.

Aren’t there serious repercussions for a team walking off the floor and not finishing the game?

Head coach 3 game suspension, several players suspended for 3-4 games served separately to provide PC some bench players for games.

I think there's a fine involved as well.

I thought there was post season implications when this happened.
