The first quarter could not have went better for the Eagles as they have 9 first downs to only 1 for the Chiefs. The won the time of possession by over 8 minutes. They have 115 total yards to 19 for the Chiefs.

A bad throw by Hurts leads to a Chiefs interception inside of their own 5 yard line. That is where the Chiefs take over. The were in FG range but the way Elliott has been lately he may not have made it.

Terrible turnover by Hurts. That took points off the board.

The Chiefs are on the verge of being blown out. Mahomes is getting severe pressure on every drop back and he throws a pick 6 and the Eagles now led 17-0 with 7:03 left in the 2nd quarter.

Mahomes finally connects with someone and the ball finds the end zone. ?

I’ve been a Cowboys fan since 1982. Never cheered so hard for the Eagles as I did during that pick six. 

EVERYONE IN THE AFC IS HOPEFULLY WATCHING THIS GAME WHO PLAYS DEFENSE. YOU NEED TO CONSISTENTLY PRESSURE MAHOMES. 
 

He will get his passes and touchdown at times still but if he is being pressured like this it clearly makes a difference.

The KC defense has actually held up well considering the circumstances.

It sounds like on the broadcast this is an Eagles home game.
