With the talent in the today's NFL and especially in the AFC with all of the top notch QB's Jackson, Allen Burrow, Herbert, Stroud. This is the Chiefs 5 appearance in the last 6 years and this is the greatest 3 year run in the Super Bowl era and are one win away from being the only team to 3 peat in the Super Bowl era.

This is hard to believe but with tonight's win Andy Reid is only 3 wins from tying Bill Belichick for the most playoff wins all-time. Bill Belichick is 31-13 Andy Reid is now 28-16.

No one talking about the Bills going for 2 points? It is a big factor in the loss. If the Bills don't go for 2 both times and just kick extra points, the fourth quarter plays out differently. Wha

  • No kidding, right? I don’t believe Allen had any idea where it was going, but it landed perfectly.

Here is another question - why wasn't Cook at RB on that last drive by the Bills? No way I have him on the sideline with the game on the line.

Making the Super Bowl 3 consecutive years (and 5th in 7) with today’s cap is remarkable.

It is actually 5 out the last 6 years. The only year he hasn't been in it was the Bengals and Rams in Super Bowl 56. He has played in Super Bowls 54, 55, 57, 58, and now 59.

I still cannot believe Dalton Kincaid did not catch that pass.

I agree the only thing I can figure is the Chiefs defenders running in front of him, but it still should have been caught no doubt.

Here’s another.  Seventeen straight wins in one-score games.  All games, not just playoffs.

True and just think they won tonight and Kelce had just 2 catches for 19 yards.

Definitely an incredible stat. To be so good in one score games you obviously have to make plays. However you also have to get lucky some. Which they definitely have got some lucky breaks during that streak that other teams don’t get.

Love him or hate him but when a play has to be made Mahomes has shown he as good as anyone has been so far in his career and he is only 29. Other quarterbacks make big plays but so far in his career he has come through in every playoff game with the exception of the Super Bowl vs. the Bucs.

And the loss against the Bengals, he didn’t come through in.

Mahomes obviously made some clutch plays tonight, especially late and Buffalo didn’t seem to have a clue defensively. As much as I didn’t want the Chiefs to win, officiating had nothing to do with it in any way, Buffalo just simply couldn’t get it done. As the game went on, I believe that having Steve Spagnuolo as defensive coordinator was the difference. They heavily planned for Josh Allen on running and it showed.

And Kincaid should have caught the ball. I’m amazed Allen got the pass off of that blitz called by Kansas City. Even in losing, I will say that Josh Allen had a hell of a season. He truly impressed me passing the ball this season more than any other he has played so far. The AFC just has to get better, plain and simple.

Here are the current NFL Records that Mahomes holds in only 7 years as a starter. (he played in 1 game in 2017 his rookie season.

NFL records

Consecutive 300-plus passing yard games: 8 (tied)

Consecutive double digit deficits overcome including playoffs: 6

Fastest to 10,000 career passing yards: 34 games

Fastest to 25,000 career passing yards: 83 games

Fastest to 30,000 career passing yards: 103 regular season games

Fastest to 100 career passing touchdowns: 40 games

Fastest to 200 career passing touchdowns: 84 games

Fastest to 300 career passing touchdowns: 128 games

Career passing yards per game (minimum 1,500 attempts): 296.1

Passing yards in a player's first 50 games: 15,348

Passing touchdowns in a player's first 50 games: 125

Passing touchdowns in a postseason: 11 (2021) (tied)

Total touchdowns (passing and rushing) in a postseason: 12 (2019, 2021)

Total yards (passing and rushing) in a season: 5,608 (2022)

In 7 seasons, Patrick Mahomes is ahead of Joe Montana’s postseason wins and will be halfway to Tom Brady’s postseason wins if Kansas City beats Philadelphia again in the Super Bowl. While it’s highly impressive, whether people like it or not, it is indicative that the AFC just has to get better.

That is true and I was so happy that he didn't, but head-to-head stats he had a higher QB rating, threw for more yards, more touchdowns than Burrow but two big areas that was huge for our Bengals win was Mahomes had 7 sacks for 39 lost yards to only 1 Burrow sack for 7 lost yards and Mahomes had 2 interceptions to only 1 for Burrow.

It took Brady 10 years to get to 17 playoff wins including two years he did not make the playoffs 2008 was due to injury. Brady had 35 playoff wins in his 22-year career and Mahomes has 17 in 7. Brady has had the best career imo of any quarterback for his entire career, but no one has had the numbers and records that Mahomes has put up in their first 7 years in the NFL. I don't like the Chiefs or Mahomes for that matter, but I am objective enough to appreciate greatness.

No one talking about the Bills going for 2 points? It is a big factor in the loss. If the Bills don't go for 2 both times and just kick extra points, the fourth quarter plays out differently.

What were the stats today in both games on teams going for 2 points? Was it 2 out of 5? I think if they ran the numbers in games against top level teams, the success rate is less than 50%. I stand by my opinion that going for two points before the 4th quarter against playoff level defensive teams is almost always the wrong move.

Here is another question - why wasn't Cook at RB on that last drive by the Bills? No way I have him on the sideline with the game on the line.

Also 5 out of 7. ?

I was just counting since Mahomes has been a full time starter.
