February 1, 200719 yr He was on SC highlights 2 or 3 times for that game. Nice to see him doing well.
February 1, 200719 yr I have not heard his name mentioned lately. It is nice to see him have a good game.:thumb:
February 1, 200719 yr Nice game for the former Cat player who was a HS McDonald's AA and recruited by Tubby Smith!!!
February 1, 200719 yr Nice game for the former Cat player who was a HS McDonald's AA and recruited by Tubby Smith!!! You're joking right? So you mean to tell me that Bogans was a great player while at UK. I can remember him playing and having a very good sophmore year and an ok senior year but his freshman and junior year were pretty subpar. A very streaky shooter while at UK. I'd take Prince and Fitch over Bogans. IMO, Bogans asn' a supurb player at uk!
February 1, 200719 yr Did I say in my post he was a great or superb player at UK? No, I did not say that! I said he was a McDonald's AA who was recruitted to UK by Tubby Smith. However, if you look at Bogan's career numbers, you can at least say he was under-appreciated as a player at UK. I would also tend to think he was a very good player while at UK, maybe a bit inconsistent, but very good. You do realize he is the 4th leading scorer in the history of the school w/the greatest tradition in college basketball? Keith Bogans scored 1,923 points while at UK and he only trails legends: Dan Issel, "Sky" Walker, and the Goose.

February 3, 200719 yr He's on ESPN now. A nice assist in transition and now a foul and the basket. Nice first 90 seconds...

Senior year OK enough to be 3rd team All American, SEC player of the year, and lead his team to the only 19-0 SEC season (tourney included, not even in 1996)
February 4, 200719 yr Prince yes but Fitch not a chance. Bogans had a huge heart and hated to lose. 1900 points is a lot in a YMCA league.

Bogans was far and away the best player on the best team in the country when he was a senior. He got hurt, they lost.
