Notre Dame gets a much needed FG to end the half and make it just 10-3 Penn State. The Irish will get the ball to start the 2nd half.

Did ESPN just follow up the story of the NFL game moving to AZ because of the fires with a commercial of a guy accidentally setting his house on fire??  Tone deaf!!!

Notre Dame looks like a totally different team now when Angel came in right before the half the Penn State defense seemed to get on their heels and Leonard came back in the second half and looked very good it is now 10-10 with 10:46 still remaining in the 3rd quarter.

I agree, totally different Notre Dame team in the second half so far, wow.

It’s been a tale of two halves so far for Notre Dame. They have come out far more tightened defensively and much better offensively.

This is turning into a great game as Penn State has come back to tie it at 17 with 10:20 to play in regulation.

The advertiser picks the ad.  But someone from ESPN and/or Allstate should have realized it's in poor taste.  It's not as though the fires started a couple hours ago.

I think ESPN did catch it, because as soon as the grill fell over, the spot ended, without the typical taglines.

This game is so intense!

A big turn in momentum as Penn State turns the Notre Dame interception into 7 points and the Nittany Lions led 24-17 with just under 8 minutes left to play.
