Humphrey seems to have Ashlands number right now. I really like Scott and respect him as a coach. He has really proven himself. I haven't seen Clark play but I know they will be tough. I think Ashland will be excited about this game. The crowd, especially the students, should really be primed. If I understand correctly, Ashland is going to retire Brandon Webb's jersey sometime during the evening. It is supposed to be a baseball themed evening from the students. It should be a fun night for basketball. The 'Cats may be ready to pull an upset. Ashland 72-71.

For Ashland to pull the upset, it would have to be a game in the fifties,

I'm an Ashland fan, and I know that we're on a roll right now and the entire community is getting involved and interested in basketball right now. But I seriously don't think there is a person in the city of Ashland who can guard Preston Knowles. We may have a chance if Marty Thomas comes in, or we bring back a Cook boy or Arlo but without them....maybe Matt Thomas but we'll see tomorrow.

Right now Ashland is playing well, and everyone on this site agrees. But from what I know and have heard of Clark Co. they are going to be too tough for Ashland. I predict Clark Co. by 8

I think Ashland and four other teams in the 16th are under rated, just because they are in the 16th region. Ashland by 3.

McDavid and Jones will be a good matchup. Bonner (I think that is the other starting big guy's name ) might be the X-factor for Ashland.

 

Matt Thomas is good but Knowles will have a big night.

Not here in Winchester,1-2 inches and still snowing, but could clear up by this afternoon....will have to wait and see.

Last night Clark Mlddle was scheduled to play Mason Co Middle School and Mason didn't have school and had to call the game off because it's their policy ,so I just drove on down to Richmond to the Class A tournament. Paintsville and Elliott Co was a great game.:irked:
