Steelers 44 Bengals 38

Final. Steelers are now 9-3 and the Bengals lose their 3rd straight and are now 4-8. A sad game all the way around!

    That was fun!

  • Even the officials should have got that one right but on replay it is simple, clear, and accurate.  But we don't use that.   On some level I think the NFL is fighting technology.  Meaning the mor

The Bengals are now 0-4 in games where they have scored more than 33 points!

Our defense is pitiful. It has played a big role in the L column, but coaching is still the biggest issue in my opinion and won’t change. They had no business having seven losses before today’s game, which is why they are where they are at. Front office better be ready for some big changes before we lose more players than we need to.

Watching this defense today I’m reminded of the line from animal house when the old dean told Flounder, “fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son”

only with this defense it would be, “no good, slow and stupid” has no chance boys

HOW IS SOMEBODY NOT ATTACHED TO FIELDS!!!!!!!!????????????  Just sums up this defense this season in a nutshell

I thought the 2018 defense was bad, which it was horrible. However, this years defense being this bad hurts even worse considering how it is wasting a year of Burrows career.

I would have rather had the color commentor, Charles Davis, as our DC.  He called that one too, and a bunch of others.  I like him and Ian Eagle.

Right, at some point if I am Joe I want out.

I assume you are saying defensive coaching? I agree but we also have a sloowwww defense. Our linebackers are slow. Our safeties are slow. Hubbard is slow. Total reboot on the defense. I am done with Pratt, Bell, Stone and Rankins. Hubbard is worth 10 snaps a game.

The only slot we need to fix on the offense is right guard. The Bengals will also have to draft a WR. Every other draft pick needs to be defense.

An MVP year for Burrow. If the Bengals were just good enough defensively to get into the playoffs, Burrow would be in the MVP discussion.

This is completely off topic and wouldn’t change the result. However, when did there become different levels of unsportsmanlike penalties like they did today?

That is what I was thinking as well.

I asked myself the same thing. Lapham was excited and Dan Hoard said as much as soon as the flag was thrown. To me it seems like the NFL has to many degrees of rules.
