I don't think U of L will that Bobby guy.

I love being right. :D

Coach K continues to do a great job on the recruiting trail...

Congrats to the Cards and Simms...this is turning out to be some class...

I noticed that the Cards don't have commitments anymore from their 2 guys that they placed at Hargrave that were once part of last years class...the 3 star QB, Francis I believe is his last name and the 4 Star DT that picked Louisville last year after being commited to Auburn, I believe his last name is Crowell...I know that the UofL fans were excited about the big DT...Are these guys being recruited by the new staff or have both parties decided to go in seperate directions??

^ They both actually had signed an agreement that they would do what was required to get them here by this semester, they both fell short of their side of the bargain, in that U of L stopped going after them....Crowell will likely sign with Auburn, more on Francis later.

I sort of thought this would happen... there were rumors even before the BP departure. Icing on the cake for Simms

Things aren't looking good right now for the Cards, I got a feeling the bottom is about to fall out

This could be the beginning of a domino effect

The bottom is about to fall out at UL

I still think that Matt will be a Card the will not play until 2008 at the earliest, there is still plenty of time for the Cards to recoup, if he decides against his father's advice.

This took place Sunday night. The younger Simms told a NJ newspaper Monday morning that he would not be coming to Louisville

He told them that before this hire.....I would look for him to stay, that may only be MY opinion, but I am normally right more often than not.

Don't know about that, but in this case you would have to be more right than the kid who said (on the record) he wasn't coming.

I'll wait before I listen to a high school kid the day after a thing like this

You can pretty much expect the same from other recruits as well. I would be surprised if there are not more that have a change of heart.

The Simms kid will wise up and sign with Louisville. Kragthorpe has twice the resume' Petrino had when hired. I really don't see this as a down grade at all. In fact he will be another in a long line of great hires by one of the best ADs in the country. As long as Jurich stays the Cards will do fine.

Admit it - the Cardinal fan base is very nervous right about now

I'd be nervous about losing the coach, the best players, and the recruits.

Still the same. He says he's not coming and everyone else says he is. ;)

I wish Matt Simms the best, and will be seeing him in a Cards uniform.

let's let the declaration of "Coach K" take place tomorrow, and watch how "he" brings in U of L's best class ever.

I want to add that there were many that kept the faith that Simms was coming...particularly 02Ram54 and Ram2003...

I won't be suprised at all if Burke starts at NC State next year. Congrats on Lville getting Simms back.

I'll second that. :thumb:

I never said he wasn't coming. Nice try though.

RP will definitely let you know when he is right!

I'm glad the worked out for the Cards, although I think some of you may be overhyping him a bit. Sure, he could be underrated, but that is very hard to detect.

The kid comes from a rich bloodline, UL could do much worse. Even his pappy thinks he's better at this point than his other NFL son, that's impressive if you ask me. Coach K hasn't missed a beat, UL must be very happy with his results so far and he hasn't even held a practice. UL seems to be on the right track to continue their recent success.

I didn't say that you did, I just posted what you wrote, no more, no less.

I hope that Simms matures a lot before he gets to college. His behavior at the state championship game was very punkish and surprising.

RP will definitely let you know when he is right!

:thumb: :thumb: As for the first sentence/comment......He has to, it happens so seldom.:D

I also agree with the 2nd statement, I glad that they got the man they wanted, Just rmember, he's not there yet and a bunch of them were oh so sure that Petrino wasn't going anywhere  , dedicated to U.L.:sssh: :D
