Hmm I’m sure Mayfield and Beechwood fans will disagree with you on that. But that is why they play the games.

I can see Beechwood being in the conversation. But even most Mayfield fans know their chances are slim against the Aces this yr… In saying that I also know you can never completely count out the Cardinals.

Until someone beats Mayfield they are the team to beat. Mayfield is Mayfield!! I’m not just saying this because I’m a former player and Beechwood fan but I think they have the best offense in 2a. With all of their weapons once Fryman comes back who are you going to cover? The only thing that worries me about Beechwood is their defense. 

I agree with that Mayfield is the defending champ but their chance is slim to none but Beechwood has a punchers or a speedsters chance with all that speed and QB...2A playoff is going to be interesting and Mayfield beating Murray even though by slim margin is proofing to be large now by avoiding OC in the 2nd round but if we can win out will see thrm in finals rematch...LCA will be a tough out as well.

I disagree with that Mayfield has no chance. You know what they do come playoff time. 

 

How often is Atwell not the story in a big O-Cath win? He may have been upstaged against the Trojans by Dereon Crowe, who tallied 269 yards from scrimmage (166 rushing/103 receiving) and 4 touchdowns on 12 touches.

 

Seriously outside a possible shot from Beechwood with their speed and QB and I keep hearing about their defense issues then who is going to beat Owensboro Catholic? Seriously. OC and BW maybe the only teams that are possibly better than last year and with others taking a step back...if I be honest who is going to beat them?

You can never count out Mayfield or LCA! As Snake says earlier there have been many times there was a huge favorite in 2a who didn’t win it. That is why they play the game.
