Girls playing high school football

I’m just curious how many girls people think are playing football in Ky. I know Crittenden county has one that kicks and pretty darn good. Just wandering if any other teams have any. 

And I want to commend them for playing and doing something that they want and love. Going through all the conditioning and practices.

I remember a while back Moore had girl on O-Line. Forget the years though.

I don't follow current HS football enough to know if there are any playing now.

About a decade or so ago, I was in an art class at NKU with a young woman that played WR for Covington Holy Cross.

I'm pretty sure when Scott went to North Bullitt earlier this year, that NB placekicker was.  She was pretty good too.

Woodford has one she’s a freshman. She’s pretty good too, started played at youth level all the way through to high school now.

Simon Kenton has a Nose Tackle that has played a few snaps.

We had one on a team I coached on back in 2019 and she played DB, showed up daily, went through drills, didn't play on Fridays for obvious reasons but we did throw her in a few JV games. She was one of the guys really, I mean if you're willing to go through the grind of the season and not expect special treatment other than a separate changing room I see no issue with it, but personally I wouldn't encourage it for the fact that situations can arise that you wouldn't normally have to deal with.

North Bullitt does have a kicker.

BGHS has a Freshman center. She has played in Freshman games and held her own just fine against some of the better Freshman teams.

Ballard had an OL as a junior and senior I believe 2021 & '22 seasons.
