  • A week ago I would have said NewCath wins but after Conner wiped the Breds out I am not so sure.  They do have a common opponent, Scott: Campbell County 63 Scott 27 Newport Central Catholic 55

  • We have free video of this game too! https://www.meridix.com/event/254169

  • This should be a good game. New Cath will need more than 66 yards on the ground as a team though to win this one.

Not sure who kept the offensive stats for NCC,  but I am certain they had more than 66 yards rushing.

Per there own stats on scoreboard. Cole did have 68 yards. But there was a loss of -8 on there that took the total down to 66 yards.

Conner had 4 sacks and 6 TFLs so that will cut into the rushing totals. I would assume the -8 yards rushing for Miles is due to the sacks.

What is the health of both teams going into this game?  I know Campbell’s had some injuries at QB and Cole was injured in the NCC game last week.

I will have to go with the Camels on this one. I think it will come down to coaching, and the Camels definitely have the better coach. JMO

Interesting take. Any reason to why? Lickert has won everywhere he has been, Weinrich has not.

The game is at Dixie.

I understand the negative plays. I can say that Cole had upwards of 90+ yard rushing.  Link had him at 98  on I believe 15 attempts.  Conner has the rushing total at 80.  Don’t expect if you don’t see change to KHSAA stats when the defensive stats are posted.  Don’t want to beat a dead horse.

I think you have a toss-up here. Both teams are coming into this game with something to prove. I think the winner comes away by a field goal or less, that’s how close I think these two teams are. I picked NewCath because I think they have some real weapons that will be looking to break out after last week. Ultimately I think we’ll see a game changing play to be the difference maker.
