Woodford County at Warren (CA) Predictions/Updates

The Jackets(3-0) of Woodford County make the 2,147 mile trip across country to take on the Bears(0-3) of Warren High in Downey California. This is the return game of the series, as the Jackets defeated the bears last year at home 40-39 in a shootout of a game. Looks like Madden Iamaleava(quarterback) and Jace Brown(wide receiver)have both left the Warren football, both had committed to UCLA.

Beat California! On that note, does anyone know the history of Kentucky playing California schools (if there is any at all) ? This series is an enigma, but nonetheless intriguing.

Warren's Calpreps rating is about 10 pts higher than Woodford County. Looks like could be another competitive game.

I am intrigued by this scheduling.  What does the schedule look like for the players?  I am assuming this game is on Saturday.  Do they fly out on Thursday or Friday?  Possibly an early Fall break for the school?  Best of luck to Woodford, just seems like a big time trip.

They are flying out Thursday, I believe practicing at UCLA, game Friday night, going to the UCLA game Saturday I believe, and come home Sunday, and back to school Monday.
