That was a high level half of football. Seven possessions, six touchdowns, and Boyle probably would have made something happen at the end of the half if they had more time.

I wonder if Boyle is going to be able to stop St. Edward.  They are going to have to force a couple of punts to win this game in my opinion.

  • I will root harder for the Boyle County Rebels to win this week more than any week since I have been following Kentucky High School Football. Who Ya With!

  • I’m pulling for Boyle County.  St Edward’s is a great team but so is Boyle County.  Don’t read social media, just go up and leave it all in the field.  Go Rebels!

  • How many counties does Boyle draw from??

Second half will be interesting. If Boyle can hang with St Edward’s size and depth, it’s anyone’s game. I think Boyle needs at least a defensive stop or two.

This first possession for Eds would be a great time for Boyle to get their first stop. If the Eagles take it down and score, suddenly Boyle is having to catch up to keep pace rather than setting the pace like they did in the first half.

You gotta figure St. Eds numbers advantage is going to show up at some point, too.

Before kickoff all I  wanted was to not be embarrased and be compeitive.  At the half it's what's need to do to win the game.   Boyle has exceeded my expectations.

Offense 254 to 171 Boyle

Firstdowns 14-12 Boyle

Agree on both counts DMC.

KY HS football has gotten exponentially better from top to bottom in the last two decades.

I disagree on the bottom and I think we are worse than ever at the bottom.

Ed ball on their own 32.

21-21, start of the second half.

@gchs_uk9 one of the announcers just suggested it was 55 degrees.

Blatant holding on Boyle on a pass.

Edward across midfield.

3rd and 14, this is Boyle's chance to stop Edward.

Ball on the Boyle 38.

Overthrew the receiver, 4th down.
