I wish the kid the best.  It stinks for him and his team.  Even for us fans.  I wish him the best.  In my opinion it’s highly unlikely he plays.  That picture of the team after the ninth region finals.  He is on crushes and he is wrapped from above the knee to the groin.  Pretty obvious hammy injury based on all the reports.  Pro athletes with elite trainers and conditions don’t return from those types of muscle injuries in ten days.  Very unfortunate but I would shocked to see him play at a level that could help his team while dealing with this injury.  I hope I am wrong, but the optimism around him playing reminds of the Aaron Rodgers narrative that was floated all fall.

According to Evan Dennison of LINK Northern Kentucky, Coach Rod Snapp said that Kinney will give it a go tonight unless there's a setback in shootaround and/or warmups.

Any of us that have ever had a hamstring issue know how delicate they can be.

If Kinney can be 50% and just be a presence on offense, that will help. Newport needs his 3 point shooting.

Sure hoping the young man is sound.  Newport will need him to make a run.

The more Campbell zones, the more Kinney will play, IMO. And I think Campbell needs to zone to win.
