Congratulations Bellevue girls basketball. I wouldn't call this an upset. I believed that Bellevue came to play and was prepared to show that their program has worked hard and earn the "W".  NewCath girls are a good team overall so congrats to them on a good season. 

 

Tommy Sorrell has always done a fantastic job as head coach!

This was really a culmination of years of hard work.  A trip to regjonals!!!

I remember talking to Tommy two years ago and could tell how excited he was about his young team then, I had a feeling something like this was in his future now that they're growing up. 

I saw film of the game winning play. Just perfect execution. Iso handoff for the inbounder on a SLOB. Layup. Just perfection.
