I saw that.  I was just providing info on what I know about the 12th.  I'm not familiar with the other regions.  

I don't prefer changing the regions much because schools develop loyalties and rivalries.  But eventually the 10th Region needs to go north or south.  The distance from Montgomery County to Campbell County is almost 2 hours.  That really doesn't make sense and the schools have little in common.

Love the effort for the full state!

My only point of criticism from a 4th Region perspective is that if Franklin-Simpson is going to be in with those teams, I don't see how it makes sense to have Warren East in with them at that point.  I get that you're maintaining the current composition of the district and adding Franklin-Simpson, but Greenwood fits much better with those schools than Warren East.  Honestly, that's mostly true now, but would become much more dramatically true if Franklin is in there.  I think if they were doing a dramatic re-organization, and given that they have already shown a willingness to split up the Bowling Green/Warren County teams, that they'd be best served by doing a more dramatic split there.  I'd say a district of AC/S, Franklin-Simpson, Foundation Christian, Greenwood, South Warren and then a district of Barren County, Bowling Green, Glasgow, Warren Central, Warren East makes more sense geographically.  They'd never do that, but I think that would be a much better grouping given proximities.

Move all schools from the 5th that are on Central time to the 3rd or 4th.  Move Meade to the 5th with schools on Eastern time.  Move the 4 NKY from the 8th to the 10th.  Move Frankfort and western hills to 8th.  Put Woodford and GRC in the 11th.  Makes for less travel and greater parity across the board.  Maybe move the Bullitts to the 5th as well.  By the nature of population centers some regions would have 15 or 16 teams and some would have 20 or 22.

It has been rumored for years that Lincoln would be coming to the 47th. I think Lincoln County would dread that move more so than Pulaski or Somerset. Outside of boys basketball the 47th would be tougher for Lincoln to make a regional than the 45th.

When I was in high school at Somerset, Russell County was part of the 12th Region along with Laurel County (there was no North/South Laurel then). Rockcastle was in the 13th.  When they came to the 12th, I think, is when Russell moved to the 4th.  Or, it could have been when East and West Jessamine were added to the 12th, I can't remember.
