  2. Much bigger than an All A hangover is the fact that Reddick didn't play. He's a big part of the offensive success.

  4. Yes, I said I did that back in 2012. There's been some changes since then, but those changes would be easy to fix.
  5. Back in 2012 I took the time to redistrict the entire state to eliminate 3 team districts. Obviously there have been a few schools added in the last 12 years, but here would be a pretty good start. 6. Union County had road trips to Caldwell County, Hopkins County Central, Trigg County, Hancock County and Greenwood. I completely agree the Greenwood loss was a good loss at the right time. The Braves have seemed to be a little more focused the last two weeks. Hart County is a good football team, Union County is a good football team, I expect this to be a really good game. I'm leaning toward the UC defense being the difference in this game. 21-14 UC.
  7. The better team, and dropped passes? Did you notice FS scored on a scoop and score off a fumble inside the 15, a safety (not a great play call in that situation) and another fumble on a bad play call on 3rd down? Union defense looked impressive in my opinion. This one should be another dandy.
  8. Here is the link to the organizations website and member schools. https://www.kentucky2achampionships.org/schools
  9. The Kentucky 2A Championships start tomorrow in Owensboro. Lexington Catholic appears to be the favorite, will they repeat as champions?
  10. That is not correct, Belfry and Floyd Central were neither eligible for the All A. Per the 2A Championships guidelines All A teams can not elect to play up in the 2A.
  11. If the "All A" took the smallest 90 schools and the "2A Championships" took the next 90 schools you would have more of a small school and midsized school feel to the tournament. That would leave roughly the largest 90 schools not participating in either. I personally feel 3 classes in basketball bringing the "elite 8" to Rupp for a state championship would create a larger fan following than our current setup. I know the reason it's not touched is because it's the "cash cow" but I personally believe the 3 class system bringing 24 teams to Rupp instead of 16 would generate more funds. You would have some communities that have never been shut the entire town down to go support.
  12. Bardstown was the better team Friday night. They were clicking on all cylinders offensively. Union didn't really go away from the run, just took what they were given. The secondary was definitely exposed. I don't expect Mason to beat them, but if CAL gets a bunch of stops defensively that one could turn into a running clock.
  13. I predict there will be two undefeated teams remaining in 3A after this weekend and those two teams will play December 3 for a state championship.
  14. Who wins this second round game that likely sends the winner to Bardstown?
