From Dawson Springs Athletics:

Dawson Springs Athletics is proud to announce Brooklyn Clark as the next Head Coach of our High School Girls Basketball program! ???

Brooklyn is a familiar face to Panther Nation—a former Dawson Springs player and a member of last year’s coaching staff. Her passion for the game, combined with her connection to our school and community, makes her a perfect fit to lead our program forward.

Here’s a message from Coach Clark:

“My name is Brooklyn Clark, and I’m excited to be a part of this basketball program as a coach. As a former Dawson Springs athlete, I bring a strong passion for the game along with a commitment to helping players grow not only in their skills, but also in their confidence, teamwork, and discipline. Coming from a school that doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves pushes me even more and I plan to use that as motivation to encourage my players to work harder, believe in themselves, and show what they’re truly capable of. I value patience, strong leadership, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. My goal as a coach is to create a positive, hardworking environment where every player feels supported, challenged, and motivated to reach their full potential both on and off the court.”

Please join us in congratulating Coach Clark as she takes the next step in leading our Lady Panthers! ?

She is 21?  That has to make her the youngest Varsity Girls BB Coach in the state, right?  Perhaps ever?

I wish her and them a lot of luck, hope she and they do well!

I'm pretty sure she's a 2023 Dawson Springs grad....so I'd assume that puts her at either 20 or 21 years old. Definitely young.
