The only fair way to do it for the players is to put $$$ on the line for the players. Winning team gets X amount per player, whike losing team gets 1/2 X per player.

Who cares whether they play or not including the CFP.  These are individuals, many of which could lose out on millions of dollars by playing and getting injured. 

If the NIL deal had an incentive that the player agreed to or wanted to exercise, absolutely!

That's the thing, the majority of these guys opting out aren't even a lock to get drafted, let a lone million dollar contracts.  There were SEVERAL players at all levels of bowl games not playing because they were transferring or had put their name in the portal. I don't think anyone should be forced to play but I think there should be structured incentives in place to make players want to.

They are looking out for number one as they should be.  We know college football isn't looking out for anyone other than the greedy people at the top making all the money.

I think players should be paid period to play in a bowl game.  Just to throw a number out, maybe 25K per player for every player on the roster up to 100 players.

Didn’t watch but this is what I pretty much expected to happen.

Teams are allowed 85 scholarship players.   Probably less than 50 play in most games that are a level playing field.

I don't think fans care about the corporation which is what I'm factoring in along with the players.  Corporations have zero influence on my take on it.  You take fans out of the equation and there's no scholarships out there.  It's all connected.
