January 22, 200719 yr I LOVE WATCHING HIM PLAY and the talent he brings to the game. He lived up to all the hype this year which is tough to do. With that being said if Urlacher would have broken him after he taunted him going into the endzone I probably would have said " serves you right". I really hope he doesn't go down the punk road that so many do in pro sports! I think it was a caught up in the moment thing but I hated to see it out of him because he is one of my favorites!
January 22, 200719 yr I agree and I was dissapointed to see him taunting Urlacher as he went into the endzone.
January 22, 200719 yr Author Did anybody else get a kick out of seeing Urlacher lined up at corner one time in the game when the Saints motioned Bush out of the backfield. How in the world do you not throw that ball up deep with no saftey help?
January 22, 200719 yr I don't like pointing but I loved watching him run away from the pack of Bears in pursuit. He really played well down the strectch, I think he'll post some really good TD numbers next season.

Good point, better yet though, did you see Bush and his breakaway speed when he got out in the open??:scared: It was amazing to see him run that way, you just saw the gap between him and the nearest Bear getting wider and wider every 5 yards.

I'm talking about a different play. On the play I'm talking about they were 1 on 1 outside all alone. It was pretty funny to see. Brees ended up throwing it to the other side of the field to Colston I think. Urlacher didn't have him on the TD.
January 22, 200719 yr I thought Bush had more class than that. To top off a great run with the taunt, flip and dance was stupid. The Saints never scored again.
January 22, 200719 yr Only thing I could think about when he was running down the field is how stupid the Houston Texans' management must be feeling.
January 22, 200719 yr I'm glad he turned it on toward the end of the regular season and into the playoffs. If he has a good offseason this year, he could be unreal next season.

I know which play you are referring to because Urlacher was matched up one on one with Bush after he went into motion. I would have been drooling for that match-up. I was just referring to Bush after he got out in the open.
January 22, 200719 yr they said after the game that he apologized and said he got caugt up in the moment...

How in the world do you not throw that ball up deep with no saftey help? Bush wasn't pulling away in the open field. Urlacher was giving a good chase, but couldn't close ground. However, he wasn't giving up ground.

It didn't get wider until Urlacher pulled off.

That pointing at Urlacher imo woke the Bears "D" up. I noticed Urlacher screaming at his defense after that play and they pretty much shut the Saints down after that.
