January 22, 200719 yr they said after the game that he apologized and said he got caugt up in the moment... :thumb: I also heard that reported. I hope so bc like stick said, this guy has too much talent to fall into the ego-maniac punk category that so many others have.
January 22, 200719 yr The Saints made some great decisions (with a little luck) in bringing in Drew Brees and Reggie Bush. Way to go Texans.
January 22, 200719 yr It didn't get wider until Urlacher pulled off. If they are talking about the swing pass/screen pass that started on the left side of the field and ended up on the right side....When he turned the jets on he left about 5 guys watching feet and elbows and most certainly pulled away.
January 22, 200719 yr Bush is still a kid, I think the flip and the dance were from youthful exuberance (sp?). As far as the taunt goes, hopefully Urlacher took it like a man. No one can say linebackers don't celebrate and taunt after a big hit or a sack, and who knows if Urlacher hadn't already said something to Bush earlier in the game. I am will to give Bush a pass this time. PS I hate the Saints this is not a homer post.

January 22, 200719 yr I LOVE WATCHING HIM PLAY and the talent he brings to the game. He lived up to all the hype this year which is tough to do. With that being said if Urlacher would have broken him after he taunted him going into the endzone I probably would have said " serves you right". I really hope he doesn't go down the punk road that so many do in pro sports! I think it was a caught up in the moment thing but I hated to see it out of him because he is one of my favorites! I agree with you completely. I was disappointed in his actions and hope it is not a sign of things to come.
January 22, 200719 yr Reggie Bush had an amazing year considering all the hype, he handled it w/grace.

He cut/juked the safety. Then a guy missed him. Urlacher came from the middle of the field and stopped pursuing around the 25-30. Urlacher wasn't involved in the original juke. He maintained distance from Bush. I mentioned it and we rewinded it to watch again. Urlacher is INCREDIBLEY fast.
January 22, 200719 yr I thought Bush had more class than that. To top off a great run with the taunt, flip and dance was stupid. The Saints never scored again. I totally agree. Up until then I was content to just watch a good game not really caring which team won. After his little showboating display, I was glad to watch the Bears pound them. There is already too much of that in the league, and I sure hate to see another one added to the list.
January 22, 200719 yr they said after the game that he apologized and said he got caugt up in the moment... I'm not buying it. It was choreographed so well that he could take his act to Broadway.
January 22, 200719 yr This isn't the first time Bush has dove into the endzone in celebration. I have no problem with any celebration, but the pointing was stupid.
January 22, 200719 yr The Saints made some great decisions (with a little luck) in bringing in Drew Brees and Reggie Bush. Way to go Texans. Was this fixed?! Texans GM Charley Casserly made the pick for Williams and then immediately left for the NFL front office. Did the league encourage Houston to choose Williams so that a downtrodder Saints franchise desperate to win back an entire region could get the ticket seller like Reggie Bush? I don't believe this, but its interesting to think about!
January 23, 200719 yr I think he is the most exciting player in the league to watch... I wouldn't put him over LT, not yet anyway.
