  • Would not be surprised if CAL gets a running clock. I doubt this one will be close.

  • This one could be a running clock in the 1st half. Thomas is a phenomenal back but he hasn’t faced a team like CAL. After seeing Bell in person tonight I believe that CAL Will be able to score on

Maybe one play left in the half.

Halftime.

This is Gary Ball and frankly a reinvented and much better Gary Ball.  Good job Gary!

Is Gary who did the Pikeville game yesterday, I know Baker didn’t do the Noon game.

Yes, Gary Ball and Freddie Maggard.  Gary has been doing this for 50 years and he has a lot of talent.  This year he is more relaxed in the booth and the best he has been in years from my perspective.  On Baker, great guy, but the KHSAA needs to do something there, they can't have him doing these games.

Really impressed with Bell County.  That is the only game plan they could have and they executed it great!

All CAL second half though.

If I'm not mistaken thought a school could elect to "play up" - regardless of size.

Have you ever seen their team ??

Why play up? A private school in 3A with a championship program will just keep attracting athletes ( and tuition) and will grow by attrition. I believe they are co-ed correct? Not going to knock heads with your guys not the parochial powerhouse girls programs either.

No offense but I think a bunch of people missed on their predictions. If CAL can force a couple three and outs your fondest dreams may come true lol. Running the ball isn't "sexy" like the spread offense but it works.

Squib, CAL ball on their own 43.  Bell special teams are either non-existent or horrible.

14-8 CAL.

Start of 3rd quarter.

CAL to the 14 on a run.
