UK shot 38 3's, hitting 12.  33% from the floor was killer.

I stand corrected. I didn’t realize the NCAA last month took about 15 wins away from Kansas. Which allowed UK to move back up front. I don’t know how I missed that. 

I think what we saw from Dillingham tonight will be his career, he’ll soar from really good to really bad, no in between 

Wagner & Edwards combined for 5 points.

At one time in the game the Cats were 9-18 from 3 after that they went 3-20. I do like that the Cats just had 8 turnovers for the game that is good with the pace of the game.

Everyone said they wanted UK to play a more modern day style on offense. Which is a bunch of three’s and attacking the rim. None of that mid range jumpers we seen the last few years. I loved the style we played with, and can live with them playing like that.

I don't have a problem with 38 attempts, but I don't like 12 makes.  Attacking the rim needs to improve.

Agreed. That was kind of his reputation coming in. He is going to make some plays that just wow you and unbelievable. Then he is also going to make and force some stupid things, that make us angry. Just have to hope the good outweighs the bad. Which tonight I thought he did besides the crazy force three he air balled late. 

We lost by 5 on a neutral court to the #1 team in the nation and only got a combine 5 points from Wagner and Edwards on a combined 1-18 from the field and 0-6 from 3.

Reeves going 3 for 17 on 3's aa they just mentioned on SportsCenter, is always a bad recipe. 

If Cats shoot free throws better in the 2nd half they are in position to win at the end. Wagner and Edwards are just a mystery to me, especially Wagner. Edwards doesn’t strike me as a real assertive player and waits for the game to come to him. Wagner however is more assertive, but has to make passes for easy plays for his teammates. I think he ended with 1 assist, that's just crazy.

All that said, this will be a fun team to watch. I think their athleticism will drive some teams crazy.

Those two guys are key to this season.  Other than Reeves, they will need to be our most reliable players.

The film of that last four minutes is going to be studied for the next month by UK. UK played like they were behind and Kansas played like they had the lead - patient, worked for a good shot.
