Martin Co. at Beechwood

Shelby Valley at Somerset

All eyes in 2A (especially Beechwood) will be on LCA/Mayfield...I expect a great game out there.

No idea what to expect in the Shelby Valley/Somerset game. On paper teams look pretty even.

It's a shame LCA/Mayfield in Round 3, guess it's a similar thing to Corbin at Boyle Round 3.

It is a shame for this and if I was a mayfield fan I would be worried if Murray take you into the 4th quarter and would be even more worried about Murray next year...can't wait until next week and next year...

I have honestly thought all year and still think that LCA and Mayfield are the two best teams in the class. Although I do think that LCA is a bigger favorite than I thought of them before the beginning of the year. With that being said I think the winner of this game wins the state championship.

Really!!! Still no love for Beechwood who wins state every year. They are a great team and probably will win state again this year.

I've got to go with the Beechies who keep getting counted out year after year and then you look up and they are a THREE time defending champ with another good enough team to win it all...wow

This Shelby Valley/ Somerset games seems very intriguing. Both put up massive points last night.

I’m not knocking Beechwood by saying I think they are the third best team in the state. I never said they can’t win it all. There’s 4 teams that all have a legit shot at winning it all, period. Everybody gets all up in arms when someone simply states their opinion of who the best team is and Beechwood is not their take on the topic. Relax. Beechwood is a very good team. My apologies for not putting them on the throne. I simply just have an opinion that differs from some others in here.

This is just a form for people to voice their opinions nothing personal but some people clearly get upset when your opinions goes against theirs....I just love talking football and give me unbiased opinions...it's all good..some people you can tell by their opinions have never clearly played high level high or college football....and speak on feelings and emotions and not true knowledge of da truth about the game. I thus far have always respected your opinions

Of course not that everyone is going to be on the same page as everyone else. Nobody said the world is against them But in all reality Beechwood doesn’t really get the respect they deserve from across the state. . We heard in the  90’s when we were winning Class A almost every year. We heard it once they moved up to 2a that they wouldn’t win another title. I’m not saying you said any of these things.
