I love the fact that this playoff game is played on the campus of the schools instead of a mostly empty college venue.

I wish student tickets would be prioritized over the general public, though.

They held back tickets for students and depending on how many they sell to students will determine how many are left to sell to the public. Trinity season ticket holders have also been offered tickets.

With the decline in attendance to this game in the regular season I figured this was coming sooner rather than later. It will be a great environment but traffic is going to be a problem which is obviously not easily resolved.

Regardless, I don't know if there's a better on campus high school stadium within an hour. I think we're right there with Center Grove, St. Xavier (OH) and Elder and this figures to be one of the best game day experiences I can recall. 2014 Ensworth (ESPN), 2006 Manual (Tim Phillips' first game- 176 and 2 TDs) and 2010 Elder (walkoff TD by Ryan Steffey) come to mind. Long overdue if you ask me.

Parking will be a nightmare, at best. But I agree with your comments on the campus and atmosphere. It will be special, especially seeing as these two juggernauts never get to play on campus.

I’m still in shock to see this game in round 2 of the playoffs. Have they ever met in the playoffs this early?

2015 we played in the second round and won 34-7 before losing to Male. Will Wolford's third year as coach.

@NLTanker1 Considering the competition… Maybe I am being a little harsh. See how it plays out.

Thanks for posting.

Just a heads up, Sherrin Ave. will be closed beginning at 230 tomorrow afternoon until 5:30 when they are allowing people to come park. They (SMPD I assume) are not letting anyone in on that street until right at 5:30. Also, I wouldn't park at any of the businesses on St. Matthews Avenue, as they all tow.

You've been warned!!! ?

I imagine this will be an amazing atmosphere Friday! I think T secures the win easily as they did in the first contest!

Trinity - 42

X - 14

Is Trevor St.X QB healthy and ready to go?
