Kickoff is at 7:30 tonight. A half hour later than usual for the folks in Park Hills.

Ashland's kicker, Jake Sexton, is 41-51 on PATs this season, and no attempted field goals. They've also had four other guys who have been brought in for PAT kicks, totalling 9-13 on PATs among the four. Ashland also has successfully made 7 two-point conversions this season. (No clue how many two-point conversions they've attempted.) Sexton is a senior, and looks like he hasn't attempted any field goals in his two seasons as place kicker.

Cov Cath's kicker, junior Andrew Weitzel, is 61-66 on PATs this season, and is 2-3 on field goals. If memory serves, all three of his field goal attempts were in the 30/35 yard range. The Colonels have successfully made 3 two-point conversions this season. Last year Weitzel was 1-3 on field goals, so it looks like neither team goes for field goals much.

Thanks, C_Dub. I'm assuming Kruger will still be booming kickoffs.

I just paid my $10 for this broadcast, it is an extremely high quality broadcast and anyone back in Ashland should be all over this.  Here is the link:

Ashland has had a really nice season, as evidenced by their record. Following their schedule and results, I just have been underwhelmed in some of those wins against decent opponents.

Too much talent for the home team. Evan Pitzer leads the way to a CCH win by 20+.

Good, I was just in the other room thinking about this and thought to myself the CCH broadcast is one of the most professional broadcasts available to us.  I think the Ashland fans will embrace it.

The broadcast is live, looks great!

Colonels in their blue helmets are wearing their blue jerseys with white pants tonight, and the Tomcats with their white helmets are wearing white jerseys with white pants.

Captains are about to head out for the coin toss.

Ashland wins the toss and elects to defer. Covington Catholic to receive the opening kickoff.

Brandon Houston's kickoff is a squibb.

1st and 10 Cov Cath on their own 46 yard line.

Owen Leen runs around right. Picks up maybe a yard.

2nd and 9 Cov Cath on the 47 yard line.

Screen pass left to Braylon Miller, who drags a tackler for a few yards after being hit.

3rd and 1 Cov Cath on the Ashland 45 yard line.

Pitzer rushes forward with the overload package for the first down.

1st and 10 Colonels on the Ashland 42 yard line.
