So Californian's buy about 8% of all Powerball tickets, yet they have won 3 out of 4 largest drawings and split the 4th. According to the article there is about a .004% chance of that happening. 

It's absolutely certain that Powerball administrators can know which numbers haven't been picked before the drawing, thus they know which numbers can roll over the prize til the next drawing. I'm sure they also can pick a set of numbers that are only selected once from any participating state.

Maybe there is no grand conspiracy and the .004% odds just hit and California residents just happened to win the four largest Powerball drawings in history.

What do you guys think?

PS: This isn't to discuss the wisdom of playing or not. Everyone knows it's an extremely long shot.

I think anytime there is this much money involved it is a certainty there will be corruption.  And unless a "whistleblower" comes forward with proof I don't see how we would ever know.

I've always said this. It's almost like clockwork..."biggest jackpot ever" and "winner in California" go together every single time. Happens way too much to call it a coincidence.

So long as you have a ton of money, I think living in California would be awesome.  Such a beautiful state and so diverse as far as access to beaches, mountains, etc.

I will just get to the point. Anytime I hear this conspiracy baloney on anything I just start asking logical questions. And 99.9% of the time, the conspiracy theory makes no sense.

In  today's world of social media and me me me. It's virtually impossible to keep anything hush hush.

Your 99.9% against, is better odds than California hitting these jackpots which is 99.996% against. ?
