Here goes the jynx but I would go as far as to say that they are THE best defensive club in college basketball that I have seen this year. Granted I haven't seen them all but anyone would be hard pressed to play better defense than a "Tubby coached team.
January 17, 200719 yr They're holding their SEC opponents to 35% shooting. :scared: I believe that last nights game made 12 of the last 13 opponets held under 40%. That is Impressive!!!
January 17, 200719 yr Taking nothing away from the UK win last night but USC was ranked last in the SEC in almost every offensive category.
January 17, 200719 yr If Brandon Wright had come to KY they would be a contender. Perry and Thomas are terrible. Perry is good sometimes (when his shot is falling) and both are good defenders, but neither can score on the inside at all.

Just looking at Randolph Morris should tell you that. He's lean and ripped. Also, he's quick enough to cut off defenders and play defense with his feet instead of his hands which is leading to less fouls.
