January 17, 200719 yr To end the streak...they have to be much more consistent on the offensive end, and a lot more production down low. The potential is there...and if they continue to improve and develop as a team like they have since the season began, they could very well do it.
January 17, 200719 yr is one of the best defensive teams in all of college basketball....I agree BRJB, they are playing very well defensively. It takes time, for teams to develop on both ends of the floor and UK is certainly playing much better, than early when some thought the sky was falling. They will encounter bumps in the road but defense, like you elude to will keep them in many games, if the offense struggles. On the subject of defense, the bench play on both ends has really improved as well.

Last year made it 8 years since our last appearance, not exactly something to be concerned about, IMO. We're pretty much on par with our past history. History also shows that UK FF's come in two's and three's, so usually we're looking at a trip about every 10 years. IF, UK happened to make it there this season, we would be right on schedule.

January 18, 200719 yr Tubby knows D. He has got the kids to buy into it this year. Jasper is a monster. Crawford has finally started playing D. He used to be a back door wating to happen and couldn't spell help. He has improved 100%.

Morris, Bradley and Crawford and playing much bigger roles and becoming the players many expected them to become. Also, the new strength and conditioning coach is already paying dividends. I thought this team could be pretty good, but they are already way ahead of where I thought they would be at this point in the season. Great job by the players and staff to get the job done! :thumb:

I don't need to wait until they play a good offense to determine if they have a good defense, I've seen it with my own two eyes.

They are way better than I thought they would be.

Perry is good sometimes (when his shot is falling) and both are good defenders, but neither can score on the inside at all. :laugh: This is the funniest post Ive read in a while.
