I would like to see Beechwood play Owensboro Catholic in the semi-finals. 

I’d like to see Mayfield play Beechwood in the semi finals.

Nope, LCA/Mayfield. 

Sad thing is with the way the 3rd round is we will not see one of the top 4 teams in Semi-Finals. Already a lot of travel in 3rd round, I wish they would open up to 1-8 instead of 1-4 via East/West.

Well three of the top 4 are in the west. Not sure why this is. Lex Cath is in the east if I’m not mistaken. Any reasons why this is?

New Districts. Lexington Christian got moved out of their district with Somerset & Danville and is now in the West. They are now in a district with Shawnee, Fort Know, DuBois, and Washington County.

They have been in the west the past 2 years. Before the districts changed. 

So am I reading these comments right? Beechwood has a free pass to the semifinals but only 2 of the other 3 (LCA, OC, and Mayfield) can make it? I forget how it works every year rinse RPI has come into effect.

So two years ago in round 3, OC traveled to LCA, and mayfield played green county to get to semis. Last year, OC played LCA and mayfield played Metcalfe county. 
 

semis two years ago had mayfield and LCA from west and last year was mayfield and LCA.  Mayfield had to go to beechwood in semis two years ago.

I'm sure the other teams on the Eastern side of the state would disagree with it being a free pass, but yes. They divide the state until the semis. So if they make it the 3 of Mayfield, OC, LCA would be 3 of the final 4 from the west in the 3rd round.
