Dakotah deserves any and all honors which he recieves because there is no one who works any harder to make himself a better all around player. He is the first in the gymnasium and the last to leave and this is the case year around. The only athlete that I have seen that, in my opinion, works as hard as Dakotah is O.J. Mayo. Both are focused and both are determined to succeed. They are mature beyond their years. Both will succeed.

 

It was an honor and a pleasure to watch O.J. both on and off the court at Rose Hill. It is equally an honor and pleasure to watch Dakotah.

Well he isn't averaging 100 points a game this season. Seriously the answer to your question is yes.

 

I guess I didn't word my question to good. I was looking more for an idea as to how many he aleady had coming into the season.

Dakotah avg. 14 p.p.g as a 7th grader at the varsity level and 19.7 as an 8th grader. This season he is avg. 26.3 p.p.g. Dakotah is a very hard worker and he gives God all of the credit for his success.

Great accomplishment for a great kid.

Congratulations to a great kid and player. This is one observer that would be very surprised if he ever left Rose Hill, and I have no doubt there will be "opportunities" to go elsewhere.

Great Job.Euton has really worked to improve his game this year.He is much better posting up and is putting the ball on the floor with confidence.

Although statewide and locally we recognize all varsity points prior to the 9th grade I believe the national federation only counts points starting with the freshman year.I bring this up because with his size,touch and work ethic he is going to be in the 3000-4000 point range for his career.This would probably place him fairly high on some all time lists.

Someone please correct me if I have the wrong information.

Interesting post. If you are suggesting that some of the "better known" publics may "court" a little, that has, I believe, already happened a few times which should be to the surprise of no one. I don't know if any of the "inquiries" included AD jobs or not. But, then, one never knows what goes on, does one?

 

I'm not suggesting anything at all. I'm just saying it wouldn't surprise me if something like that happened.

That has happened with other kids who had parents with similar athletic/educational positions and it wouldn't surprise me if some schools, such as those that are private, made this kind of offer.

 

It's just the nature of the beast.

My post was not intended to take a shot at Rose Hill or the Eutons for recruiting or being recruited.
