January 15, 200719 yr I wasn't at the IU game, so I guess I missed out on that one. However, the IU game wasn't part of the season ticket package so you can't blame it on the 'blue hairs'. The people with the cash weren't the only ones in the lower level for that game. Well either way just about everyone in that lower areana section was still UK fans, there were very little IU fans there..So no reason for not putting the shirts on...

Most of the people in the lower section were still 'old folks' and they all had FREE shirts in their chairs and just about all of them were UK fans and barely any of them wore the shirts still. I really dont know you want to argue about this now, because you even said in a earlier post in this thread that a few years ago they tried it and not many of the people put on the shirts and that would have been a game with the season ticket packago, so it would have been the 'old folks' again who decided not to put on the FREE shirts...

So this comment makes no sense. I mean if it was football in the old Cardinal stadium 22 years ago, or during the brief Ron Cooper era of Louisville football 10 years ago, then maybe, but not Basketball, that has always been a hot ticket.

I remember when Tennessee did something similar to this a year or so ago against the CATS, they had a white and orange checkerboard formation throughout the entire arena. That was sweet. I wish my fellow UK fans werent so arrogant and pompous sometimes that they cant even muster up the strength to put on a shirt to help the team...
January 20, 200719 yr Louisville only has a 19000 seat arena in Freedom hall. Only?? It's one of the largest arenas in the NCAA. Lately they have been up there in terms of total attendance. A few years ago UK and UL were numbers 1 and 2 in average attendance for the season. Im well aware that lately UL is up there with the best of them, even though it hasn't always been the case. Either way, it was just meant as a little humor for the UL fans, you shouldn't take me so seriously. I do remember some large corporation giving away tickets for UL football years ago. Im not sure if it was Papa Johns, but the shoe fit.

Regardless, Im happy with the direction this team is going and it would likely take more than an early exit this year to change my mind.
