What happened with the technical?  It sounds like that was a turning point.

Up 6 to a tie game. I would say yes.

Turning point: 6 point play on a technical.

What happened there? Radio went off right as it happened.

I tried relistening to the broadcast it just said technical on Ward, but I didn't hear an explanation.

Congrats to Beechwood. That’s why you play the games. Does that put them in regional tournament regardless of outcome Friday?

Was texting one person who was there, and even he didn’t know what happened.

Yes, the representatives of this district in the 9th region tournament will be Cov. Cath and Beechwood.

This. Best I can make of it from the livestream - Kelly fouled. Ward or Smith T'd up. Boyd 4/4 on FTs. Layup on ensuing possession.

Six point swing.

Maddox Kelly made first two FT’s. He played really well. Guessing it was career high.

Thanks. Didn’t know if anything had changed.

Even bigger win with that in mind.

Thank you. You're right on the FTs for Kelly; read my notes wrong. He scored 19 tonight. Boyd 23; Logue 12.

Also unofficial from the livestream: Ward finished with 14 after a slow start. Jacob Meyer - 27 p, 8 r, 5 a, 5 s.

Beechwood (11-18) will meet Cov Cath for the District championship in Park Hills - Friday at 7:00.

Jake Meyer, good luck wherever you choose to go to college.  You should win Mr. Basketball and thank you for allowing me to watch you for 4 years.  Train like a marine my man and I look forward to watching you on TV.
