Newport Central Catholic sits at 10-2, with its losses coming to Campbell County and Beechwood.

Who wins this Class 1A playoff matchup? Does Kentucky Country Day get a big home win over Newport Central Catholic?  Does Newport Central Catholic quietly sneak into the Final 4 of the Class 1A playoffs with a win on the road?

I think NCC gets the win.  They competed with Beechwood and I think they will be in the final four and have a shot of making it to the Championship game.

NCC wins. NCC will dominate the line of scrimmage. NCC by 21.

After seeing both play, I feel like Newport Catholic has the advantage. KCD has some talent, but after seeing how Dayton could move the ball against them defensively the other night, I think that the Newport Catholic OL and defense is better.

I believe the Breds win without much trouble.

Also, if you pay for the monthly pass to watch this stream, you will get NFHS for the duration of the playoffs and can watch all the state finals games if you're interested.
