Wasn’t the 2A school starting a freshman qb as well? Not to mention their only lineman with any real size (compared to a 6A line) got hurt in the game.

Something like that but they totally shut Berger down too.  The 6A teams have better defenses than CovCath and I don't think Beechwood would be able to move the ball with any consistency on the top 6A teams.

Agreed ..  just countering his argument about injuries. Injuries should be a lot easier to overcome at the 6A level than the 2A level.

BE beat Male and beat Ballard in a scrimmage be 3 TD's and it wasn't that close.  I really like Corbin's team and SK played them very well.  More parity in 6A this year than there has been in a while.  I'm not going to talk badly about Beechwood because I really like how physical they play so just win your games and stop worrying about rankings that don't matter.   I actually think you all will beat Woodford this week.  I just don't think they are as good as they were last year. 

Just so it's official, I do not think SK would beat Bullitt East this year but that doesn't mean they are not a good team.

Beechwood would have crushed CCH if not for the injuries and Beechwood was starting a freshman QB. Beechwood was missing their run stuffing LB and starting OL. Leen would have been shut down if Waddell were playing! If Beechwood was healthy they beat CCH by 4 or 5 TD's.  ?
