A Noon Wildcat package… let’s call it “Nooncat”…. Puts the ball immediately into Noon’s hands. And everyone else is just blocking for him.
 

When you have a player like Noon, with 2 extra gears and unreal field vision you have to get him the ball. And this is just a direct injection of Noons skill.
 

Plus it wastes the oppositions’ time. Highlands would only have to practice for this for like an hour total per week. Because the play is just Noon’s skill. But it would waste a day of the other teams defensive coordinators time.

It definitely can be effective and tough for a team to prepare for. Cooper’s freshman team has done that exact formation at times this year.

Highlands should put together a really simple Wildcat package. You put Noon at wildcat in a double TE formation with really wide splits. Have two wingbacks and a FB in motion at the heels of the o line. Maybe put Sam Robinson at the FB. 
 

And the play is just right or left. Blockers just run that direction and take a defense guy the direction you can and Noon just reads the field and does his thing. Almost like kickoff return as a play. It would be so deadly. Run like 2 plays back to back and then go back to normal offense. 

Haven't these guys been putting up big numbers doing what they have been doing lately? Usually a wildcat formation favors a power running back.....but hey, run it by Coach Sphire. You guys wanted more community involvement from the new coach correct lol?

At some point they will run into Cov Cath again, BG, Douglass, and SW again. I can tell you as a defensive guy this would make life hard. It wouldn’t be a big deal with some random high school running back. With Noon this play goes to the house 1/4 times you run it, against whatever team you got.

Didn't they ultimately run the Wildcat with Noon the last 2 seasons? ? I think the wildcat would be good for short yardage and they have done that in the scrimmages this season with Noon. It is much more difficult to defend with Noon in motion or Noon in the backfield with Giesler/Hosea and the QB and another player in motion. You have to defend against 3-4 options instead of just 1 or 2 with Noon by himself. The final TD against CCH was scored because everyone flowed to Noon and the handoff went to Hosea. Went 35 yards pretty much untouched due to Noon possibly getting the ball and good blocking. The one thing I want to see and something I think we will see is Noon throwing out of some of these sets.

So Noon is more dynamic than Shaun Alexander was? Wow.

Who said that? But yes, he is.
 

Noon can play WR, QB, RB, and Returner.   So by definition he’s more dynamic than phenomenal pure RB Shaun Alexander. 

No one said he was a better running back than Shaun Alexander and you know that. Alexander knew that the defense knew he was getting the ball 90% of the time and he still was unstoppable. Noon can play multiple positions at high levels. It was 3 yards and a cloud of dust with Coach Hauck and Boone Co and maybe that was the downfall against Trinity in 1994, if they use Alexander in multiple positions maybe they win?

I am as big of a Charlie fan out there and support any creative way (like you described) to get him the ball as much as possible. However, let's not put expectations/comparisons like this on the young man. Nothing good comes from that because you and I both know that it just isn't true - he is not as dynamic as Alexander. Shaun Alexander is a NFL Hall of Fame member. Let's enjoy that fact that we have a special talent leading our Birds without putting questionable expectations/comparisons on him.

He said dynamic not better. Which I would argue Alexander was better but Noon is more dynamic. Never remember Alexander catching much or ever throwing the ball.

Alexander wasn't 3 yards and a cloud of dust he was 90 yards and a touchdown!  I am surprised Cooper don't  let Alexander run the ball nobody would be able to stop him.

Dynamic means always changing. Shaun Alexander never started at QB or WR. Noon can play like 6 positions at top high school level. Better is different. Tom Brady is the best QB of all time but is as dynamic as my sock. 

My brother said if I can make the game to go and check out Alexander this Friday. No one has yet to say if it’ll be close or not. It’s closer home, but parking is tight if both crowds show up.

Should’ve expanded on that. 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense, but yes with Alexander, he most certainly gained more than 3 yards. Just an old saying from an old timer like me.
