Tilghman had so many opportunities in this one. I know not many expected it to be close, but it was and PT just couldn't capitalize when it mattered most. 

Henry County added a touchdown with 1:22 left to put the game away after a PT interception. PT scored as time expired, not that it mattered much. 

Henry County scored after a blocked punt gave them the ball at the PT 3 and after a penalty on 4th and a mile and a missed field goal kept the drive alive. 

Way too many mistakes in this one to try and pull off the road upset.

No disrespect to PT but whoever it was earlier in the week that said some computer had Henry Co compared to Male and St X or whoever it was needs to not pay any attention to that system any longer because there’s no way PT could be this close with those teams. Not trying to make anyone mad just being realistic.

Agree.

Henry County (TN) has a nice football team (so does PT) but those two teams are no where close to Male/X territory.

I agree guys but I feel like that is a game that got away from PT.

Calpreps rated Henry County similar to Scott County. I didn't watch the game but does that seem closer to correct than X/H?

I don't know about how many they truly had out, but I have read where a couple people said they had at least 8 starters out in last night's game. That could certainly change how the game was played and maybe why PT played a little closer than expected. I'd say they are probably much better than the version we saw last night. When PT had 3 players go down in the Henderson game, it was a night and day difference.

Henry County (TN) and Scott County sound/look about right to me.

We could have have and should have won this one. The coaching and play calling is really questionable a lot of times and in key moments. It does seem like they know how to manage a game and it has been that way all season. From Mayfield to Henderson, but With a little I’ve 4 minutes left in the first half and your defense just stood tall and kept HC out of the end zone on the 3 yard line, you have a chance to at least go in the halftime up 6-3 but you decide to come out and throw 3 straight Hail Mary plays? That was not completed, or took any time off the clock nor get your out of the end zone in case of a punt. But also doesn’t give your defense much of a breather. You should run the ball, eat time or make them burn time outs, witch still give your defense a breather at least.. but instead we do the opposite and get a blocked punt and the HC scores to go up 10-6 at half… then the personal foul with 4 minutes left up 14-10 on the kicker on the field goal, WTH? That is nothing but coaching and discipline. 

Not a huge fan of Power Ratings but CalPreps has us a 19 point favorite against Scott County and a 11 point favorite over Male and we only beat Henry County (TN) by 5.  Anyway, great showing by Tilghman.  Way to represent Kentucky!

No where near imo. Henry County is a TN power. They would beat Scott County by 3-4 touchdowns.

Not the Henry County team I saw last night but maybe they had an off night and/or had some injuries.
