Not too long ago the CAL vs Desales game was a can't miss game as one of the better rivalry games in the whole state.  Wonder what has happened to the Colts?  Economy impacting the ability of parents to pay the tuition on top of inflationary costs?  Likely.

Listen, I understand it is shocking to see Desales’ state of the program. But I applaud the Archdiocese for taking a hard look at its school to see if winning football games was worth the price of what it had turned their school into. Build back the right way.

It is quite odd considering the rise and influx of players coming in for the basketball program.

Mike Jackson has done a nice job at various schools over the years, albeit almost always at public schools and typically not for extended periods of time. Here’s hoping he can right the ship!
