I think 4A is probably as close this year than it has been in a while, usually there is 2 teams way ahead of everyone......I think the 3rd, 4th, and Finals will be some worthy games to attend.....

3rd round should set up a game between Boyle, Johnson Central, or Corbin. That seems too early for one of those teams to exit.

I am thinking with the Cross Districting in place, this years 3rd round might look to include the likes of Lexington Catholic in the mix as well. So the RPI no doubt will determine the opponents but it is looking like Right now that Boyle/Lexington Catholic and Corbin/Johnson Central might take place and very well could be a Boyle/JC and a Corbin/Lexington Catholic in round 3. Be some good football games there my friend..Way too early right now to know for sure..

Are they still splitting the state east and west in round 3? If yes, then Boyle and JC cannot meet before the semifinals. Is Corbin in the east or west?

Boyle is east. Boyle LC Corbin and JC.

The 3rd round is East only or West only. The 4th round is East and West combined....

With the way the cross districting is taking place is there any chance that a Boyle vs. Lexington Catholic could play in the finals?  Doesn't the RPI take effect in the 3rd. round?  So if like last year Boyle #1 and LC #2 they would avoid each other till the finals.

Yes. Last year if cross districting would have taken place then I think Corbin would have traveled to Lexington Catholic and Johnson Central would have went to Boyle. So the 3rd Round games will be seeded by RPI and who knows right now what that will be with so much of the schedules to be played and all the possibilities of losses still remaining for each team. That Boyle/Frederick Douglass game will have big implications this time around for Boyle and Frederick Douglass. Corbin still has to get past Pulaski, Knox Central and Simon Kenton. Johnson Central may take a loss this Friday and may not. I don't see them losing anymore if they get past this weekend. Lexington Catholic may have the ruffest schedule of the four remaining because they have LCA, Boyle and Scott left. Man, lots of good games left. Before the fun begins.

Alot of good teams in the east.

List looks great! Spencer County is one of those teams flying under the radar that’s not talked about a whole lot. Love seeing them running offenses find success. Marksbury is doing an excellent job. Good to see them at #6. However, I’m not sure how they would stack against a team like Franklin County or Logan County but they look great thus far. It’s still early in the season.

I had it in my mind that Boyle was west. Thanks for the info.
