Manual and Male are very competitive but they aren't typical public schools though.

I give you Male and Manual plays competitive games but they never win. At some point and time you have to wonder what’s the point. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Male never wins against X or T? Is that really what you meant to say? Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly.

No I was saying I will give you Male as being someone that can beat those two but Manual never does. They are competitive but ain’t beating them on any kind of regular basis.

No non district matchups on Varsity level. No playing on JV/Frosh level. In response to this, at least one public school is trying to get long contract terms with the privates before this takes effect.

we’ve all heard this before around the big city and only a few people know if this has actually been talked about by the new AD.

Are you saying they are getting rid of JV/ Frosh teams or just not allowed to play privates? And are they looking to basically make it JCPS only plays JCPS on the varsity level?

The new person in charge of JCPS athletics does not want the public schools to play the privates PERIOD.

Interesting. Does she just want JCPS to be their own league? Is this only football or all sports? 

 

I'm eager to see what kind of offensive scheme they run under Coach Stoner. I want to give Coach Carmony the benefit of the doubt that he was coaching to the strength of his personnel, but it's tough sledding against the upper echelon of 6A when your playbook looks like it was taken from USC in the 1970s. A lot of student body right/left.
