This hire honestly doesn't surprise me. X has a win at all costs mentality when it comes to their hoops program. Really surprised some X fans are actually excited about this hire.

 

 

X almost has to have that mentality.  They have been far more tourney successful recently than their crosstown rivals in Clifton, but they are still second fiddle in the city.

As a technicality, it's a quarterfinal game. The semifinals and finals of the NIT are next week at Madison Square Garden.

I saw that Tyrell Ward re-opened his recruitment.  Does anyone know where he stands?  He's a huge get if Xavier can keep him.
