White collar crime gets treated differently. I often see stories of people embezzling from the company where they work getting light sentences, pay reparations and move on. What these coaches did is less of a crime than embezzlement.

Try being the point man on a criminal conspiracy where ultimately no taxes taxes are paid on hundreds of thousands of dollars and see how that works out for you.

So, since the coaches helped with under the table money which whoever received it did not report or pay taxes, the coaches are guilty of tax fraud.

College basketball is corrupt and it is all bad for the brand, nothing to see here...

Moving forward, even though I now consider Xavier an "Outlaw Program" I assume Sean Miller will once again work his magic and that is good for Xavier.

Exactly and considering that is the case, hiring an outlaw coach with experience to run your outlaw activity seems like a smart decision.   Trust me VoR (everyone) I had the same thought process when I was riding @futurecoach's coattails on Pitino coming to X.

With NIL the illegal can now be legal. There are people in Cincinnati with ties to Xavier lining up to "help" with recruiting efforts lol.

By the way, X beat Florida 72 to 56 in the NIT today and now they have Vandy in semi-finals at Cintas.
