St. Petersville almost gets the huge upset.

First time seeing GRC this year, after all the hype I can say they were a bit underwhelming. Don’t know if it was an off day or just the great play of the panthers. But the lack of shooters and rebounding i think would be why they don’t win it. If either team knocks down shots in that game they are the winner.

Looks like Pikeville controlled the tempo.  That may bold well for Lincoln Co as they are masters at controlling the tempo.

You tell me before the game Samons goes 0-10 and they only lose by 5 I’d have been shocked. Great effort from Pikeville. 

Had to watch the game on demand, and just finished.

This is what the Sweet 16 is all about!

After what i saw what they did to North Laurel on Wednesday, I knew they could and would come to play, and that they did. Again even in their loss, just look how they held GRC to many points under their average. They gave them quite a scare.  

This is what the Sweet 16 is all about, and is why as long as I live it will be one of my greatest joys. 

Got to see Pikeville a few Saturday nights ago in the region tournament. Very impressed with them. Congrats to the Panthers on an excellent season.
