Covington Catholic 76 Ashland 65 (Boys' Sweet 16® 1st Round)

Featured Replies

Covington Catholic was just too big for the Tomcats. They had no one to match up with Starks and the other big kid .And if Ashland doubled them they simply kicked it to shooters like a good team is taught to do.

I know most are predicting GRC to win it all, me included, but this Colonels team could very well be the team to hoist the big trophy Saturday night. They already won the KOB, a tournament  GRC played in.

CovCath missed 18 shots.

They got 10 of them back.  Ashland scraped the other 8.  That type of OR efficiency is really tough to overcome.

The Colonels seem to be a second half team as of late. If they match up with GRC or one of the other juggernauts hopefully they can come out hot and keep it that way

That's impressive.

Not one 3 pt. attempt by Colonels' long range specialist Kascyl McGillis. Did I miss something last night? Strong D by the Tomcats keep him in check?

We need to get our boy unwound on the big stage @Hat Trick! ?
