Tomorrow night the Holy Cross Indians host the Cov Cath Colonels in the 35th District finals...a rematch of last year's district finals.

The Indians are 20-8 on the season following their 85-75 win over Holmes last night in the semifinals. Junior guard Jacob Meyer became Holy Cross' all-time leading scorer last night with 35 points in the game, bringing his career total to 2,097 and surpassing Joe Harney's point record, set back in 1995. Javier Ward added another 25 points for the Indians in the game.

The Colonels are sitting on a 24-4 record following their 84-54 win over Beechwood last night. Evan Ipsaro and Mitchell Rylee, who have both joined the 1000 point club this season, had 28 points and 23 points, respectively.

The last time these two faced off, back on December 14th, Cov Cath handed Holy Cross an 87-45 loss at The Finn. How should we expect to see things go tomorrow night?

Colonels....20+.  I believe Jake was held to 13-15 last time, and I'm sure he will have to work hard for every bucket again tomorrow night.  Should be a fun atmosphere at the Finn.

I think it will be a better game than the first, but the Colonels will still come out on top.  The first game between the two got really chippy so I hope the refs set the tone early letting the players know it won't be tolerated.

I'm with @rjal on this one....I think this is going to be the surprise game of the night.  Meyer some how does a Houdini and pulls some magic tricks in this one to keep it competitive BUT like rjal concedes Colonels will prevail.
