They were only running about three deep today at the registers when I went but to Kroger's credit they appeared to have several hands on deck.

DISCUSSION...Latest radar loop shows precipitation coverage expanding and across the Mid Mississippi and Ohio Valley area this morning. This is occurring as low-level warm advection/quasi-geostrophic ascent increase ahead of the slowly advancing upper system, aided by progression of smaller-scale perturbations atop the region within the broader southwesterlies aloft. Within a narrow zone between snowfall that is ongoing across the Ozarks and into central Illinois/central Indiana, and rain that is falling across much of the Tennessee and upper Ohio Valleys, mixed wintry precipitation, largely in the form of freezing rain -- is indicated.
