Actually I hope you're correct, but history points in the other direction. This isn't the first Big Dance for the Bengals, still waiting for the dynasty. Mr. Brown is not your average NFL owner, and yes, he will have a hard time keeping Burrow in a Bengal uniform.  I do wish them the best of luck moving forward.

Honestly I think their history is the reason why we can expect them to continue doing what they did the last few years. The history of having the embarrassment of your franchise QB retiring rather than play for a team is something I’m sure they haven’t forgot and don’t want to see happen again. Plus honestly at the end of the day, I believe Mike Brown truly believed the way they were doing things was the right way, because he was still following an old school way of thinking and trying to build a team. However, first because of Marvin getting him to change some things, and now Taylor. I think he is truly seeing doing things like this is what has to happen to win. Which doing all of these things is also now going to help make him more money.

This is the first Big Dance, as you put it, that's not had Mike's dad, Paul, around for it.  We saw what happened when Mike had the reins to himself...the lost decade of the 90's.  While he's still the owner, I don't think the operations are comparable with the structure today.  Katie, Troy and Elizabeth have more than just titles on letterhead.

I think Mike is 4 or 5 years older than what Paul was when he died. And he looked somewhat frail up on the podium Sunday. Not to sound morbid, but you have to wonder how much longer Mike will even be around.

I honestly was so happy for Mike Brown. Basically every coach and player that has played for the Bengals have talked about the things he has done for them that no one knows about. They all also say how he truly does want to win. He just simply had a very outdated version of what it truly takes to win, and was hard headed for many years in changing his ways. However, watching the post game celebration, and seeing him in this pic. You can tell how excited and happy he was to win!

Would Tom Brady be the GOAT if he'd been drafted by Detroit, Jets, Browns or other franchise that has proven to be totally inept for most of the last 20 years?

I will go with probably not.
