Beechwood had zero pressure LCA's pass attempts in the second quarter.

Here is another view of the LCA TD.

 

Eagles have to hold onto the ball and figure out a way to stop Beechwood from just driving up and down the field. If LCA scores coming out of the half, we may have a game.

On the positive side for LCA, you coughed the ball up twice, you gave up a 70+ yard run and also a play  of the year candidate scamper to Hergott... and you are not out of the game despite that and get the ball coming out.

 

Seems like LCA has 'em right where they want 'em.   It's almost like there was a list on this very forum of things that LCA had to avoid and they darn near checked every one of them off that list.  We'll see if that TD at the end can give them a little fire, but going to be an awfully big hill to climb.

This has been eerily similar to last year's Championship game. Beechwood started out fast and had the lead at half then LCA came storming back in the 2nd half. Hope Coach Rash has some tricks up his sleeve to keep these boys pushing hard and win this Championship. LCA is not going to lay down they are to good for that. 

This game is far from over. LCA offense moving the ball pretty well. BW defense needs to regroup at half time. Nieves sitting in the rocking chair. I would keep throwing the ball if I  were LCA with all the time Nieves is getting to throw it. BW defense needs a stop on LCA's opening drive of 2nd half. That is going to be the key drive of this game.

54 and 27 doesn't equal 215 total yards of offense for Beechwood. Just having a little fun lol.

Cam Hergott with 152 yards and 2 TDs rushing on 15 carries. 2-3 passing for 27 yards.

Drew Nieves 3-6 passing for 54 yards and 1 TD. Xavier Brown with 94 yards rushing on 8 carries.
