The 99 yard TD was impressive to see because of the separation Duddy continue to show after the catch. When he gets going he has some impressive wheels.

Humphreys still had about 200 yards in 1 half.  Didn’t find the end zone much though.

You mean weak teams like the 173 yards rushing on 16 carries (over 10 yds per carry) and 5/5 passing he put up against Cov Cath?

I purposely did not say anything negative about Humphreys. I pointed out what I see in his stats and who he did it against. Nothing personal. A factual observation.

I saw Humphreys for first time last night and only better QB I've seen then him is Wimsatt. He has speed to avoid sacks and throws a good ball. He made a great throw on their lone score. St. X was in backfield chasing him around a lot but he was able to evade the pressure. I think he has a bright future in college.

He wasn't pulled because of the score, he was hurt.

He was hurt most of the game I'm pretty sure, he also made the plays all by himself yesterday. He is a fantastic qb and I don't think there is a better one in KY.

To be fair not many players in the state could put up those numbers in the style he did even if he played a weaker schedule, I'm not even sure the teams he played are as weak as you guys think.

Owensboro has a pretty darn good defense, and Humpheys threw for 368 yards and 4 TD and added 2 more TD rushing against them.  He can play well against good teams.  I wasn't at the game but it sounds like his OL just didn't give him enough time last night.

Good point. Yes, the Daviess County schedule was #27 in 6A. But they did play some good teams. Let's look at his stats against those teams. I have not looked at them before this. I am posting the stats, not making a judgement. 

vs. Owensboro (the best team DC played in the regular season) - 39-59, 368 yards, 4 TD's, 1 INT; 7 carries for -4 yards.

vs. Henderson County (the 2nd best team DC played) - Humphreys 14-30, 234 yards, 4 TD's; 118 yards on 8 carries, 1 TD

vs. Henderson County (playoffs) - 15-24, 259 yards, 5 TD's; 6 carries for 65 yards and 2 TD's

Watching the video, the St. X game was no contest. It is the St. X highlights so not much of Humphreys, but from what I saw in that video I have to believe Humphreys had no chance in that game. His stats versus St. X: 15-28, 151 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT; 10 carries for 46 yards. From what I saw in that video, not bad numbers considering the circumstances.
